Jean Hall has lived in Naples since 1997, when she fell in love with the stunning natural world of SW Florida. Her constant trips across the Everglades to work out of Miami International Airport taught her about the cycles of the bird population. She was a flight attendant for 38 years and just recently retired. Jean also worked for 17 years as a personal assistant to an ABC Sports broadcaster which led her to be hired by NBC Sports for 5 Olympics in sports production. She is a two time Emmy Award winner from that work, and has traveled the world extensively seeking opportunities for great nature photography. Although she doesn’t consider herself an expert in the field of photography, she is happy to share any tips and instruction that has helped her capture the beauty of Florida. Her mission is to guide you to great shots and to share the incredible natural world of SW Florida.
Jean’s photography has been featured on Audubon.org ( North American Bird Guide) and in several papers in the Naples/ Marco Island area. She serves as an Audubon Shorebird Steward as well as a volunteer maintaining the Burrowing Owl population on Marco Island. Jean is also certified as a Florida Master Naturalist by UF IFAS.
